Planned Giving, Building a Bright Future
At Northside Neighborhood House, we believe in providing multi-generational support that will create a long-lasting impact in the lives of our neighbors and our community. One of the most impactful ways you can contribute to our mission is through planned giving. By including NNH in your estate plans, you create a lasting legacy of hope, opportunity, and transformation.
Planned gifts are a thoughtful way to ensure the sustainability of our programs while aligning your philanthropic goals with your financial and estate planning needs. Here are just some of the ways you can maximize your impact with a planned gift.
Planned Giving Options
1. Bequests
A bequest is a simple and flexible way to leave a gift to Northside Neighborhood House through your will or trust. You have the option to designate a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or a particular asset to be donated. Bequests can also be made specifically to the NNH endowment, ensuring that your generosity continues to support NNH far into the future.
2. Beneficiary Designations
You can name NNH as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, retirement account (such as an IRA, 401(k), or 403(b)), or other financial accounts. This option could allow you to save on your taxes and doesn't require modifying your will.
3. Real Estate and Appreciated Assets
Donating appreciated assets, such as stocks, bonds, or real estate, is another way to support NNH’s mission. These gifts not only offer potential tax benefits but also directly support our mission.
4. Donor-Advised Funds (DAF)
You can recommend gifts to NNH from your DAF as part of your long-term charitable giving strategy, with the ability to make changes as your circumstances evolve.
Your Impact
When you make a planned gift to NNH, you allow us the support to continue offering essential services with a multi-generational effect to improve our community. Your legacy gift creates lasting change in the lives of our neighbors and ensures that NNH will be here for those who need us, now and in the future.
